Dr. Cobb specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He is the director of the Hand Center
of Excellence at Orthopaedic Specialists in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Cobb regularly attends and lectures at educational courses and meetings world-wide.
He has developed surgical instrumentation and techniques for endoscopic cubital tunnel release. He teaches surgeons worldwide on this technique. Recognized as one of the leading hand and upper extremity surgeons in the Midwest, Dr. Cobb offers many minimally-invasive procedures allowing patients to return to their normal lives much quicker.
Dr. Cobb graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and then earned a medical degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas. Following medical school, Dr. Cobb completed an internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Mayo
Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He completed his fellowship training in hand and micro-vascular surgery under Dr. David Green at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, TX.
Dr. Cobb is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. He has a certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), the American Association of Hand Surgery (AAHS), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS) and American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM).
